Edition by Georges Chakra F/W09 Collection

The show began with a black runway clothed in black light. Then, out of the darkness, an optimistic toe –tapping beat and a girl clad in a black, glossy knee-length dress.

The next few looks set the tone for a series of progressions (color , length, and texture) noticeable throughout the duration of show: First, the futuristic and fitted glossy blacks marched down the runway. Each of the looks began sleek and fitted, draped, then volume. Following black looks the color shifted – blue, green, and maroon acetate. Each color holding true to the volume progression.

Length also shifted as the show progressed. First knee-length pieces, then, runway-grazing marvels.

As the length and color changes throughout the show , the texture changed as well. First, glossy, then sequined, and finally metallic.
