Other than that, Max Azria's contemporary offerings included plenty of
draped jersey and velvet in woodsy jewel tones, respectively, with cut-
out backs and flowing sleeves. The lighter colored capsule, all ivory
and lavender, had steller stitching details at the hip and were form-
fitting without looking uncomfortable.
The faux white birch runway was a nice touch, too.
